TANFINET Franchisee Application Guidelines

Tamil Nadu FibreNet Corporation (TANFINET), an SPV formed for implementing BharatNet, aims to connect 12,525 Village Panchayats across Tamil Nadu through an Optical Fibre Cable network. This initiative intends to provide Last Mile Connectivity (LMC) for broadband and internet services through franchisee partners.

Applicant Registration and Submission:

  1. The applicant shall download the Notification and Annexures from the TANFINET Portal.

  2. Based on the eligibility criteria specified in the Notification, the applicant shall upload the relevant supporting documents for residential address proof and/or business operational address proof, as applicable, for the selected Group of Blocks.

  3. The Application Security Deposit of ₹25,000 per Group of Blocks (Refundable, Non-interest bearing) to be paid.

  4. Upon successful submission, the system shall generate a Unique Application Acknowledgement Number.

  5. Applicants may edit or update the application details and documents through the portal only up to the Closing Date. No modifications shall be permitted after the closing date.
  1. Applicants are advised to verify all details and uploaded documents carefully before final submission to avoid discrepancies.

  2. Marks shall be awarded based on the Technical Evaluation criteria as specified in the Notification.
